Payton Veltkamp
Title: Camp Director
Bio: Payton first got involved with KLC in 2003 as a camper, later going on to complete the LIT program. She joined the staff team in 2014 as a cabin leader, becoming the Assistant Program Coordinator in 2017. That same year, Payton started a 3 year journey as admin and school staff with Youth With A Mission where she met her husband, Ryan. She returned to KLC in 2020 as the Admin Assistant and Guest Services Coordinator, learning her new role while finding ways to serve through the pandemic. She became the Operations Manager in 2022 and is now serving as KLC’s full time Director.
Family and Other Interests: Payton is the oldest of 4 children (Ethan, Hannah, and Wyatt), all of whom have been involved with KLC. She is married to Ryan (who helps out with property and maintenance), and has a cat and dog at home. She’s a worship leader and Youth Director at Anchor Church in Regina.
Saw Min
Title: Property Manager

Home Church:
Bio: Saw was introduced about KLC at his old home church at Calvary Baptist Church in Weyburn but was afraid to go for a couple years. In 2017 he decided to give KLC a try and instantly attached. When he came back in 2018, he was told about the LIT program and begged his parents to sign him up. Ever since becoming staff after the LIT program, he has been involved with KLC every summer. He’s gone from cabin leader to maintenance man to now an all-year Property Manager role trying to find the perfect role to stay involved with KLC.
Family and Other Interests: Saw is the eldest of 2 and has done 1 year on Engineering at the UofS in 2022, to later achieve his certificate for Heavy Duty Technician in 2023. After being a mechanic for under a year, plans changed. He is now with KLC as the 2nd all-year staff and at the Brick as a part-time sales/delivery man.
