From June 30th to August 11th, 2019.

1 week of camp up to 6 weeks. Preference given to those who can commit to the full 6 weeks of summer camp.


$300 / week plus room and board.

Organizational Structure

The Medic reports to the Program Director and the Executive Director Team. .

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Responsible for providing proper health care for campers and staff onsite at camp.

  • Responsible for the storage and distribution of camper/staff medication.

  • Must be aware of what parents have authorized for their child in terms of medication.

  • Tracking distribution of all medication (PRN, prescriptions, etc.)

  • Responsible for medication and first aid inventory.

  • Responsible to be the first responder on site when any incident may occur.

  • In charge of making decisions regarding further health care for the injured person.

  • Must communicate with the Executive Director Team about possible issues or needs of staff and campers.

  • Must prepare incident reports for all incidents in a timely matter and submit them to the Executive Director Team at the end of each week.

  • Must communicate with cabin staff regarding campers with special medical needs each week.

Preferred Qualifications and Assets

  • Hold a Standard First Aid Certificate with CPR-C with preference given to those in a medical related field.

  • Exhibit spiritual maturity and be a good Christian role model.

  • Be at least 21 years old.

  • *Class 5 drivers license an asset.
