From June 30th to August 11th, 2019.
1 week of camp up to 6 weeks. Preference given to those who can commit to the full 6 weeks of summer camp.
$450 / week plus room and board for a full week (Sunday to Friday).
The Kitchen Manager reports to the Executive Director Team.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and sanitary. This includes equipment such as the stove, fridge, etc.
Provide direction to kitchen assistants and volunteers.
Prepare and serve meals within the times specified on the daily schedule.
Remain flexible to changes in the program and any unforeseen food allergies.
Be a spiritual mentor to the kitchen staff.
Work with the Program Director regarding theme meals and special events.
Preferred Qualifications and Assets
Must possess certification for completing a Food Handler’s Course.
Be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to cater to camper/staff dietary needs (allergies, etc.).
Exhibit spiritual maturity and be a good Christian role model.
Able to work in a team environment and independently.
